With the ebay bike I would want either the original kit that he took off the bike or a very large knockdown on price. If looks are the issue why not go the whole hog and put the engine into a Harris or Spondon frame or whatever floats your boat. If handling is the issue I would stick with the standard swing arm and fit some souped WP shocks. Without all sorts of suspension knowledge it will probably ruin the handling or at least spoil the shock performance. In the end I think it will add weight for next to no handling improvement. Not to mention the hassle of fixing sutable brackets to an aluminium swing arm and a frame that's not designed to take such loads. Putting the shock higher up at an angle (like the old Elsies and D600s) looks unlikely as the fuel tank and carbs/air box are in the way. Eto po ay Racing Boy Rear Suspension, S2 Series. Putting the shock ahead for the rear wheel will need some sort of top mount and to work properly, bottom mouts as well to take the rising rate (dog bone) linkage. For this video mga ate kuya, upgrade po tayo ng suspension para sa ating yamaha sniper 150. I think monoshocking an FJR could run into varous problems mostly down to a lack of space. ![]()
